Nancy W. Collins

Nancy W. Collins joined the Marconi Society as Executive Director in 2006, after successfully managing the first ever
West Coast Gala and Symposium.
A former freelance journalist, she has held a variety of senior administrative positions, including Assistant to the
President and Corporate Officer, Palo Alto Medical Foundation; Assistant Director, Hoover Institution; Corporate
Development Officer and Assistant Director, Sloan Program, Graduate School of Business, Stanford University.
Nancy has served on several Boards of Directors, including the Pacific Graduate School of Psychology in Palo Alto
(Co-Chair, Development Committee); National Society of Fund Raising Executives Silicon Valley (VP Membership);
Personnel Board, City of Menlo Personnel Board; City of Menlo Park Advisory Board; Board of Directors, Women�s Program,
Coro Foundation; Executive Board, Boy Scouts of America, Stanford Council Finance Committee; the Charter Review
Committee, San Mateo County; and the Chapman Research Fund.
A successful author with several published books, Nancy also has written numerous travel articles, military news, and
short stories. She received an AB Journalism from the University of North Carolina, as well as an MS in Personnel
Management. She also studied at Cornell University where she was awarded a Graduate Fellowship. She is listed in
"Who�s Who in America" (2002-07 editions).
